had no luck with converting a FAT32 to FAT and utilizing it with software that requires FAT. The computer says it is FAT but it may be my hardware/software. The program is very easy to use and simple to understand. If you know what partitions are, then you can figure this program out without a Readme.txt file. Two thumbs up.

It has been running for about 9 hours on the first type of scan recommended. It is about 20% done on a 320G hard drive which is now unallocated after a crash. I find it very long to get results but maybe that is what it takes. I will be interested to see if it is able to resolve the problem sometime tomorrow. I am somewhat uncertain about how to go about getting back my data in working order if it is able to remount a new partition. I have my fingers crossed but am somewhat skeptical. I will keep you updated

The MFT of my drive is damaged and "Partition Find and Mount" could not see the partition. Other products have been able to see and list the contents. I have been evaluating different products with this drive.Thank you,Mark Hesler, mcse, a+, act

Win98 compatibility for Find and Mount I was under the impression that Find and Mount was win98 compatible. However on installing I received the message "The exe file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:SetFilePointerEx". See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa365542(VS.85).aspx I'll have a look to see if there's a means to install the actual dll or a win 98 compatible dll. As it failed to install, I have rated it poor in all categories for Win 98 se.

Doesn`t work. The software doesn't work on my computer. In fact it doesn't find my hard drive and neither all the partitions. I use a Gentoo linux, maybe a library is missing or something else.
